Asalamu alaykum ladies,
I’ve been changing a few things up in our homeschool space, which should have ideally been done before we began our new homeschool year but this is real life homeschool; not everything gets checked off and thats ok.
We’ve had nature setups in the past, but this year I want to create something a little different for my children, especially to go with our revamped Admiring Allahs Creation nature journals and with the coming of Autumn/Fall.
And here is what I came up with.
This really didn’t take me long to put together at all, was inexpensive and sits on top of one of my kiddos school drawers. We have our journals, mini journal, a nature book and basket in the middle is to display our nature finds for the week, allowing the kids to explore a little further. All it took was a few candles, plants and some wood to create a beautiful little corner in our school space, alhamdulillah, which the kids really enjoy.
And on that note, I’d like to encourage you to utilise your space. It doesn’t need to be a dedicated school room or a large space for your learning environment to be beautiful. All it takes is a little imagination!
Get creative with your space…
Change things up regularly…
Utilise wall space…
And most importantly enjoy your space.
For the beauty lies within the memories that are created within the space, and that is what matters.
