40 Hadeeth of Imam an Nawawee Free Workbook

Asalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu ladies,

How are you?  We are finally back at school, though many of our resources are still yet to come we have begun we our core subjects and it feels good to be back into a routine, alhamdulillah.

This year I wanted to introduce the kids to Imam an Nawawee’s 40 hadeeth.  We will be taking one hadeeth a week so I decided to make a workbook that we could use for our studies.

The workbook has a biography page at the beginning which will give the kids a chance to learn more about the Sheikh (rahimahullah), and then two pages to study the hadeeth. The first page can be used for the children to copy out the hadith in Arabic (or English) and then the meaning below.

The second page is where we will extract the beautiful benefits of each hadith.  This won’t be completely comprehensive due to the age of my children, however, I hope we the kids can get an overall understanding of the hadith and its benefits.  There is also a section underneath where children can draw a picture to help them remember.  We won’t be illustrating the hadith as such or using faces; just something that will spark their imagination and help them remember insha’Allah.

For our studies, we will be using the book ‘Explanatory notes on Imaam An-Nawawee’s Forty Ahadeeth by Sheikh Uthaymeen, rahimahullah.

You can download the workbook for free HERE.  All you need to do is print out on the cover page, one biography page and print out the hadith pages double-sided to save paper.  You can print the hadith pages weekly or all at once and then get them spiral bound or store in a ring binder.
